Irma C. Cason, age 95, of 1991 Highway 215 East, Vienna, died Thursday, July 7, 2011, at her residence.
Born in Clay County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John Richard Caldwell and Frankie Mann Caldwell. She had worked as a seamstress, an Avon representative and at White's Packing Company. Mrs. Cason was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Annie Laura Dominey (Buddy) of Pitts
Son: Walter Franklin Cason (Kay) of Vienna
Grandchildren: Therese Ellis, Craig Dominey, Claudie Miller, Brian Cason, Brent Cason and Holly Crenshaw
Great Grandchildren: Robert Ellis, Mikayla Crenshaw, Cason Crenshaw, Anderson Crenshaw, Mason Dominey, Gabriel Dominey, Katelyn Parker and Miguel Parker
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Cason, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Saturday, July 9 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Interment will follow in the Cason Family Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, July 8 at the funeral home.
