Iris N. Owen, age 89, of 1085 Barber Shop Road, Unadilla, died Monday, August 17, 2015, at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry.
Born in Hawkinsville, she was the daughter of the late Ottis Nobles and Dollie Lee Smith Nobles. Mrs. Owen taught school for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of Smyrna Independent Methodist Church and played the piano at various churches for over 50 years. Her husband, Willis Owen, preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be at 11 AM Friday, August 21 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
