Iris Jean Dunaway

Iris Jean Dunaway, age 55, of 171 Tara Boulevard, Loganville, died Monday, May 19, 2008, at her residence.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ira Butler Peavy and Elizabeth Dennard Peavy. Iris was a wonderful woman who always put everyone else's needs above her own. She always had a smile on her face and wanted everyone to be happy. She was a loving wife and mother and will be remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Lavon Dunaway of Loganville; children, Brooke Dunaway-Hardy and her husband, Patrick, of Cumming, Jon Dunaway and his long time girlfriend, Lotis Paguirrigan of Dunwoody and Brittany Dunaway and her fiance, Rob Mixon of Dahlonega; grandson, Collin Hardy of Cumming; aunt and uncle, Ford and Gloria Durham of Unadilla.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, May 23 in Unadilla United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, May 22 at the funeral home.
