Ida Mae Beavers

Ida Mae Beavers, age 89, of Cordele, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at her residence.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Rance Brannen and Lou Ellen Mason Brannen. She was a member of the Church of God, had taught Childrens Church and helped found the Cordele Chapter of the Womens Aglow.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Elizabeth Johnson of Vienna
Bobbie Williams of Fort Valley
Wanda Williams of Cordele
She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Beavers and by her children, Marjorie Mason, Mable Howe and Allen "Bud" Beavers.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 15 in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday, April 14 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice, 708 E. 16th Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015.
