Horace H. Richardson

Horace H. Richardson, age 86, of Unadilla, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, in Flint River Community Hospital in Montezuma, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 30 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla. Rev. Cham White will officiate and burial will follow in Walnut Cemetery with full military honors and masonic rites.
Born in Redan, Georgia, he was the son of the late James E. Richardson and Milton A. Clay Richardson. Mr. Richardson served in the US Army during WWII as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, a Mason and Shriner and was the widower of Sara P. Richardson. He also served as a policeman, volunteer fireman, city councilman and city manager in Unadilla.

Brother: R. D. Richardson of Decatur

The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Thursday, July 29 at the funeral home.
