Horace L. Hamsley

Horace L. Hamsley, age 76, of 671 School Street, Unadilla, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Pinewood Manor in Hawkinsville.

Born in Grovania, he was the son of the late Melvin Hamsley and Alice Glenn Hamsley. He was a US Army veteran and a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his son, Horace L. Hamsley, Jr.; his sisters, Nell Shipes and Carolyn Vitale; his brothers, Frank, Kenneth, Bob and Herman Hamsley.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 29 in Walnut Cemetery with Rev. David Fisher officiating.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, May 28 at the funeral home.
