Henry E. Harrell

Henry E. Harrell, age 61, of 14 Bill Davis Road, Pineview, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at his residence.

Born in Hawkinsville, he was the son of the late Elmer Harrell and Elizabeth Hardy Harrell. Henry worked at Dooly State Prison and served as Chief of the Dooly High Fire Department. He was also president of the Cordele Area Gun Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Brandon Christmas (Lindsey) of Vienna

Daughters:
Miranda Parks (Wayne) of Hawkinsville
Alyssa Christmas of Vienna

Brother: Duncan Harrell (Patricia) of Latta, SC

Sister: Joyce Smith (Buddy) of Rochelle

Uncle: David Hardy (Peggy) of Albany

Grandchildren: Abby Parks, Heather Parks, Benjamin Parks and Braxley Christmas

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his brother, C. J. Harrell.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday, January 3 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rebecca.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Saturday, January 2 at the funeral home.
