Helen S. Mason, age 80, of Unadilla, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Jody Suggs and Emma Thompson Suggs. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and a homemaker. Mrs. Mason was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and truly loved to fish.

Sons: Jason Mason of Unadilla
Jack Mason of Americus
Daughter: Jodie Mason of Unadilla
Brother: Ernest Suggs of Unadilla
Sister: Betty Jean Bivins of Unadilla
Grandchildren: Jennifer Mason, Dylan Mason, Mallory Grilliot and Jordan Mason.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Mason, her son, Joe Mason and her grandsons, Jeremy Mason and Steven Randall Bush.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 24 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, July 23 at the funeral home.
