Harris Goodroe, age 76, of Pinehurst, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at his residence.
Harris was born on February 21, 1928 in Dooly County. He was a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church where he had served as a Steward. In 1957, he opened Pinehurst Equipment Company and operated the business until 2004. His parents, Charles Bruce Goodroe and Eva Harris Goodroe, preceded him in death.

Daughters: Anne Greer of Eastman
Delle Sheppard of Leesburg
Brother: Charles B. Goodroe of Unadilla
Grandchildren: Bill Greer (Kristi)

Great Grandchildren: Ansley Greer
Ava Greer
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, January 27 in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 1:30 - 2:30 PM Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pinehurst UMC, c/o Janelle Dupree, PO Box 162 Pinehurst, GA 31070 or to United Hospice 415 East 4th Avenue Cordele, GA 31015.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
