Harold Summers

James Harold Summers, Jr., age 62 of 764 Highway 41, Vienna, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at his residence.

Born in Sumter County, he was the son of the late James Harold Summers, Sr. and Dovie Watson Summers. He was a carpenter and a member of Midway Independent Methodist Church. Mr. Summers was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and served as past-commander of VFW post 4742. He loved fishing, camping and grilling. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, November 8 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Sunday, November 7 at the funeral home.
