Harold M. Bowden, Sr

Harold M. Bowden, Sr., age 80, of 449 Oak Avenue, Pinehurst, died Friday, October 29, 2010, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

He was born in Orlando, Florida to the late J. Austin Bowden and Eliza Thompson Bowden. Mr. Bowden retired from Robins Air Force Base, was a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church and was a member of Millwood Masonic Lodge # 198 F & AM. At the time of his death, Mr. Bowden was a member of the Pinehurst City Council.

Wife: Laverne Bowden of Pinehurst

Daughter: Anne Davis (Terry) of Fort Valley

Sons: Hal Bowden of Pinehurst
Mike Bowden (Angie) of Unadilla
Russ Bowden (Gay) of Unadilla

Sister: Joyce Oakes of Pinehurst

Brother: John Austin Bowden (Carolyn) of Brookhaven, MS

Grandchildren: 6
Great Grandchildren: 10

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, November 1 in Pinehurst United Methodist Church with interment in Pinehurst City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 4 - 6 PM Sunday, October 31 at the funeral home.
