Gordon A. Everette, age 87, of 96 Everette Road, Pinehurst, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Edd Henry Everette and Lizzie Dunaway Everette. He was a US Army veteran of WWII, retired from Robins Air Force Base a Farmer and a Mason. Mr. Everette was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was a member of the Mens Bible Class.
Survivors include:
Wife: Anne B. Everette of Pinehurst
Daughter: Dawn Myers (Marty) of Perry
Son: James C. Everette (Cathy) of Opp, AL
Beloved Grandchildren: Dorothy Anne Drew of Perry
Elizabeth Everette Drew of Perry
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
His son, Gordon A. Everette, Jr., preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 21 in Liberty Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, November 20 at the funeral home.
