Glenda F. (Fretwell) Bishop

Glenda F. Bishop, age 70, of 1807 Macon Road, Perry, died Friday, December 24, 2021, at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins.

Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Howard Fretwell and Mattie Wheelus Fretwell.  Glenda loved planting flowers, cooking and spending time with her family.  She loved her Lord and was a dedicated servant at her church, The Way Baptist Church in Perry. Her siblings, James B. Fretwell, Ida June Thompson and Louie Crawford Fretwell, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Allen Bishop (Christy) of Montezuma and Robert Allen Bishop (Carrie) of Perry; her sister, Mary L. Hart (Lamar) of Perry; her twin sister, Linda Heath of Perry; her brother, Bennie Fretwell (Gale}) of Acworth; her grandchildren, Madison Faye Bishop of Montezuma, Coleson Bishop of Unadilla, Kristen West (Brandon) of Perry, Stevie Ray (Chrissy) of Milledgeville and Matthew Ray of Perry; her great grandchildren, Raelynn West of Perry and Lane Asher West of Perry; several nieces and nephews; her faithful companion, Harley, her dog.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, December 28 at The Way Baptist Church in Perry with interment in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.

The family will greet friends 11 AM - 1 PM Tuesday, December 28 in the church.
