Gladys J. Hardegree, age 88, of Vienna, died Sunday, January 2, 2005, at Sumter Regional Hospital in Americus.
Mrs. Hardegree was born on August 2, 1916 to Lonnie James Johnson and Elizabeth Richardson Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna. She was the widow of D. L. Hardegree and a loving mother and grandmother.

Charlotte H. Mixon of Vienna
Son: David Hardegree of Jacksonville, FL
Sister: Mae W. Elliott of Novi, MI
Evelyn Jones of Cordele
Brother: William E. Johnson of Cordele

Great Grandchildren: 8
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 4 in Vienna City Cemetery. Dr. J. W. Wallis and Rev. Jamey Hunt will officiate.
The family will greet friends from 6:30 - 8:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
