Gerald P. Jones

Gerald P. Jones, age 75, of 711 Borum Street, Unadilla, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late John Henry Jones and Alice Cooper Jones. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a former member of the Unadilla Lions Club. His wife, Angelyn Hill Jones, preceded him in death.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Jan Conner of Bronwood
Son: Sam Jones (Arlene) of Unadilla
Grandchildren: 1
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Rev. Tommy Daniels and Rev. Jerry Pickard will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 250 Unadilla, GA 31091 or to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 2680 North Canton, OH 44720.
