George F. Lindsey

George Lindsey, age 73, of 486 Lindsey Road, Unadilla, died Monday, November 28, 2005, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.

Born in Dooly County he was the son of the late Bennonie Lindsey, was a member of Smyrna Independent Methodist Church and a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He worked as an aircraft mechanic with Lockheed in Marietta and a mechanic with the City of Atanta. His brothers, Harry Lindsey and Pete Lindsey, preceded him in death.

Daughters: Michele Lindsey of Unadilla
Marla Deuel (Don) of Unadilla
Georgia Williams of Bossier City, LA

Mother: Bertha Lindsey of Unadilla

Brothers: Tommy Lindsey of Unadilla
Raymond Lindsey of Jonesboro

Grandchildren: 7

Great Grandchildren: 2

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday in Smyrna Independent Methodist Church. Rev. Cham White will officiate and interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 7 - 9 PM Tuesday, November 29.
