George Joiner

George Joiner, age 83, of 3469 Third District Road, Unadilla, died Sunday, August 26, 2007, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late James V. Joiner and Lillian Noble Joiner. He was a longtime faithful member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was a member of the Adult Mens Sunday School Class. Mr. Joiner was a US Navy veteran of World War II and was a farmer.

Jimmy Joiner of Unadilla
Brother: Ray Joiner of Cordele
Grandchildren: Erin Callaway (Matt) of Mableton

Carrie Bodrey (Clay) of Colquitt
Great Grandchildren: 3
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 28 in Harmony Missionary Baptist Church with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday, August 27 at the funeral home or may be contacted at the residence of Neil and Jane Joiner, 64 Coley Crossing, Vienna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery, c/o Tammy Cross, Route 1 Box 524 Pineview, GA 31071 or the donor's favorite charity.
