Gene A. Daniels

Gene A. Daniels, age 81, of 11044 Highway 230 West, Unadilla died Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins.

Born in Pinehurst, he was the son of the late Barney Daniels and Lessie Bellflower Daniels.  He retired from Georgia Pacific in Vienna where he worked as a knife grinder.  Gene was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and was a member of the Disciples Sunday School Class, the UFBC Cooking Team and served as a Deacon since 1972.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and yard work.

Survivors include: Wife:  Pat Daniels of Unadilla

Son:  Robbie Daniels of Unadilla

Sister:  Laverne Cook (Gene) of Fort Valley

Brothers: Cecil Daniels of Unadilla Bill Daniels (Ophelia) of Pinehurst

Grandchildren:  Tristan Daniels and Ciara Northern (Marcus)

He was preceded in death by his son, Gene Allen Daniels.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Monday, July 26 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with Rev. Mike Parker and Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating.

The family will greet friends after the service and may be contacted at the residence, 11044 Highway 230 West, Unadilla.
