Gaye P. (Peavy) Gibbs

Gaye P. Gibbs, age 81, of 350 Whittle Lane, Dexter, Georgia, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, at James Place Senior Living in Dublin.

Born in Hawkinsville, she was the daughter of the late Emmett Marshall Peavy and Linnie Andrews Peavy.  She was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville and retired after many years as a registered nurse.

Survivors include: Sisters: Faye P. DeLoach (her twin sister) of Dexter, formerly of Unadilla Brenda P. Bennett of McDonough Connie Henry (William) of Stone Mountain

Several nieces and nephews also survive, including her caregivers, Ken and Melinda DeLoach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Jimmy DeLoach and her brother, Gary Peavy.

Private graveside services for family only will be held at Liberty Cemetery.
