Garnett Lee Turner, age 65, of 3113 Highway 90, Vienna, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Danville, Virginia, he was the son of the Curtis Turner, was a retired electrical engineer and was a Boy Scout Leader. As a member of Vienna United Methodist Church, he had served on the Trustees Committee.

Survivors include:
Wife: Jane W. Turner of Vienna

Daughter: Amy Nicole Turner of Lynchburg, VA

Son: Clinton Victor Turner of Lynchburg, VA

Mother: Avo Turner of Danville, VA

Sister: Joyce Gibbs of Danville, VA

Brother: Rodger Turner of Blair, VA

Granddaughter: Anna Pribble of Lynchburg, VA

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 30 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Rev. Shane Green will officiate and burial will be held later in Lynchburg, VA.

The family will greet friends from 6 PM on Tuesday, March 30 until the hour of the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Benevolence Fund of Vienna UMC, 313 Church Street, Vienna, GA 31092.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Viennna and Diuguid Funeral Home Lynchburg, VA(434-385-8900) have charge of arrangements.
