Frances Stafford, age 74, of Unadilla, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Leisure Life in Unadilla.
Born in Montezuma, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Daniel and Eleanor Wall Daniel. Frances graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Southwestern University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Later, she served on the Americus Regional Library Board and led the fundraising efforts to build the library in Unadilla. She also served as development director for the Girl Scouts of Middle Georgia. Frances was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church where she played the piano and sang in the choir. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandma and loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary D. Stafford.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, April 16 in Unadilla United Methodist Church with interment in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.
The family will greet friends 9 - 11 AM Saturday, April 16 at the funeral home.
