Frances F. Davis, age 86, of Pinehurst, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at Cordele Health & Rehab in Cordele.
Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late John Pierce Anderson Foshee and Ida Beatrice Dark Levie Foshee. She was a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church and also attended Pinehurst Baptist Church and was active in both churches. She was a member of the Ladies Fellowship Sunday School Class, taught GA's, helped with bible school, the nursery and children's church and was a choir member in both churches. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker, a member of the UDC and was well known for visiting the sick and preparing food for them.

Sister: Mary Ruth Foshee Gunnels (Charlie) of Richland

Marshall Lee Davis (Elizabeth) of Perry
Kimberly Shae Davis of Warner Robins
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Davis, her daughter, Beverly Jean Davis and her siblings, Helen Rachel Foshee Randall, Linton Thurman "Buddy" Foshee, Pierce Heflin Foshee, Harold Duncan Foshee, Edwin Dorsey Foshee and Lewis William Foshee.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, January 5 in Pinehurst Baptist Church with interment in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 3 - 5 PM Sunday, January 4 at the funeral home.
