Frances B. Coley

Frances Butler Coley, affectionately known as "Muddy" by her family and friends, died at her residence on Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the age of 101.

Born in the Drayton Community, she was the daughter of the late Matthew Patrick Butler and Ellie Wells Butler. She was a homemaker, a member of Vienna First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Vienna Garden Club and a lifetime member of the Garden Club of Georgia.

Bill Coley and his wife Ginny of Warner Robins

Daughter-in-law: June Coley of Vienna

Sister: Lucy B. Sanders of Cordele

Great Grandchildren: Briley Edwards, Nick Edwards, Matt Coley, Drucilla Coley, April Coley and Dave Coley

She was preceded in death by her husband, Madison B. Coley, Sr., her son, Madison B. “Sonny” Coley, Jr., her sister, Nell B. Walker and her brother, Pat Butler.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27 in Vienna First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
