Frances Woodruff Burke

Frances Woodruff Burke, age 86, of 407 Peavy Street, Vienna died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Lammie Asbury Woodruff and Eva Webb Woodruff. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna, the Ruth Sunday School Class and the Morning Prayer Group. She was retired from the Selective Service Board and was the widow of Rufus Taylor Burke.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, May 22 at First Baptist Church of Vienna. Rev. Jamey Hunt will officiate and burial will follow in Vienna City Cemetery. Jeff Burke, John Burke, Noel Burke, Chad Smith, Wes Smith and Mike Holland will serve as pallbearers.
