Frances B. Davis, age 85, of Vienna, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Cordelia Manor in Cordele.
Born in Cordele, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. Boulware and Ludie Pridgen Boulware. Mrs. Davis was a member of Vienna United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class, the Morning Glories Circle and the Sunshine Gang Choir. She worked at Hurt Furniture Company and Roobins Department Store as a bookkeeper. Her hobbies included cooking, reading and fishing but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Davis, her siblings, Eleanor B. Wade, Ruth B. Dowell, Catherine B. Webb, Roy Carter Boulware, Jr., James E. Boulware, William Boulware, Robert Boulware and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 6 PM Saturday, September 3 in Vienna United Methodist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 7 - 9 PM Friday, September 2 at the funeral home.
