Florence H. (Horne) Hamsley

Florence H. Hamsley, age 92, of 218 Horne Street, Pinehurst, died Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Pinehurst, she was the daughter of the late Coleman L. Horne and Lucille Bell Horne.  She had worked as a sales clerk at the Clothing Carnival and was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church.  Florence was a true Christian lady who loved her Lord and her family.

Survivors include: Daughters: Donna Kennedy (David) of Perry Bonnie Knowlton of Pinehurst Patsy Spainhour (Robert) of Cordele

Brother:  L. C. Horne of Pinehurst

Grandchildren:  7

Great Grandchildren:  Several

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hamsley.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 6 in Pinehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Phil Streetman officiating.

The family requests memorial gifts be made to the donor's favorite charity.
