Flora Belle Reed

Flora Belle Reed, age 95 of Pinehurst, died Monday, August 8, 2011, at Southern Living Retreat in Vienna.
Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late James Isaac Reed and Chester Grace Henderson Reed. In 1926, she and her family moved to Dooly County. Flora Belle devoted her life to her entire family until their deaths. She helped raise 23 nieces and nephews, of whom 18 still survive. She was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Reed of Pinehurst and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Howell Reed, Hoke Reed, Homer Reed, Anderson Reed, Dean Reed, Carrie Andrews, Ethel Cross and Grace Porter.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Wednesday, August 10 in Pinehurst Baptist Church with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 7 - 9 PM Tuesday, August 9 at the funeral home.
