Evelyn G. Goodroe

Evelyn G. Goodroe, age 76, of 2992 Pine Street, Unadilla, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Goodroe was the daughter of the late Lester J. Griffin and Ina Lee Williams. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and worked as a bookkeeper at State Bank & Trust for 43 years. As a cancer survivor, Mrs. Goodroe participated in the survivor walk each year at the Relay for Life in Dooly County.
She is survived by her daughter, Faye Mixon (Myron) of Unadilla; her sister, DeAlva Peavy of Perry; her grandchildren, Kylie Jones, Cory Jones, David Mixon and Michael Mixon.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Monday, February 21 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Sunday, February 20 at the funeral home.
