Estelle H. Stone

Estelle Stone, age 95, of Vienna, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, in Perry Hospital.
Born in Stewart County, she was the daughter of the late George Yarborough Harrell and Birdie Estelle Wright. She was a member of First Baptist Church for over 50 years and had served as church musician. Mrs. Stone, a graduate of Andrew College and Mercer University, taught school in Dooly, Wilcox and Crisp Counties during her 30 plus years of service.
Survivors include:
Son: Walt Stone (April) of Boulder, CO
Daughter: Dee Brannen (Tommy) of Unadilla
Grandchildren: 5
Her husband, Walter F. Stone, Sr., preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 18 in First Baptist Church of Vienna. Dr. J. W. Wallis and Rev. Matt Stephens will officiate and interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday at the Stone residence, 6266 Highway 41 North, Vienna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
