Essie T. Jones

Essie T. Jones, age 90, of 8515 Highway 230 West, Unadilla, died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Serenity Gate in Perry.

Born in Dodge County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Early Tyner and Wastella Fleming Tyner. She was a homemaker and a member of Snow United Methodist Church where she served as Pianist for 40 years.

Survivors include:
Daughters: Betty Wilcox (Avery) of Wellington, OH
JoAnn Kirkus of Unadilla
Janelle Dupree (Donald) of Pinehurst

Son: Marvin Jones (Mary Jane) of Unadilla

Sister: Toresa Deibert of Merritt Island, FL

Brother: Oliver S. Tyner of Raleigh, NC

Grandchildren: 8

Great Grandchildren: 13

Great Great Grandchildren: 2

Her husband, Capus David Jones, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 21 in Snow United Methodist Church. Rev. Tom Teate and Rev. Donald Combs will officiate and interment will follow in Snow Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Sunday, April 20 at the funeral home.
