Ernestine P. Dupree, age 92, of Macon, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, in a Macon nursing home.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Jessie E. Peavy and Ola McCook Peavy. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, the widow of Charles B. Dupree and had worked as a clerk at Peavy Grocery and Speight's 5 & 10 in Unadilla.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Anne Ricketts of Macon
Eoline Dupree of Macon
Son: Charles C. Dupree of McDonough
Sister: Louise Goggans of Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment to follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, March 24 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 250 Unadilla, Georgia 31091.
