Ernestine H. Bowen

Ernestine H. Bowen, age 83, of 2304 Findlay Road, Pinehurst, died Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Montezuma, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Joe Hill and Mary Lee Forehand Hill. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was director of the GA's. Mrs. Bowen retired from the Dooly County Magistrate Court where she served as clerk. She loved gardening, flowers and animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Bowen.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, November 18 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will greet friends in the church following the service.
