Erma Jean (Slade) Ballagh

Erma Jean Ballagh, age 98, of Rockledge, Florida, died Friday, September 17, 2021, at Ginny's Place Viera in Rockledge.

Mrs. Ballagh was born in Vienna to the late Samuel Slade and Gladys Davis Slade.  She attended Valdosta State College and later graduated from Emory University School of Nursing.  She served with honor in the United States Army Nurse Corps from 1945 to 1947.  In 1949, she married Weldon F. Ballagh.  She was a member of the Church at Viera in Melbourne.

Survivors include: Daughters: Kathy Terry of Melbourne, FL Madelyn Orozco of Melbourne, FL

Son:  Weldon F. Ballagh, Jr. of Shelton, CT

Grandchildren:  8

Great Grandchildren:  12

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon F. Ballagh and her siblings, Melba Slade Fair, Lucille Slade Lee and Sam Slade.

A private committal service for family only will be held on Saturday, September 25 in Vienna City Cemetery.
