Emma Jean (Callaway) Bowen

August 4, 1940 — May 31, 2025

Emma Jean Bowen, age 84, of 185 Drayton Lane, Vienna, died Saturday, May 31, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Callaway and Mary Turner Callaway.  Mrs. Bowen was a homemaker and the widow of Douglas Bowen.  She loved NASCAR and could hardly wait until Sunday to watch the next race.  More than anything else, she loved her family with all her heart and took great pride in providing a proper home for them.

Survivors include: Daughter:  Debra Williamson (Ben) of Vienna

Sons: Donnie Hogan (Joanne) of Locust Grove Christopher Bowen of High Falls

Grandchildren: Devin Bowen (Miranda) Mary Swymer (Corey) Christopher Bowen Destinee Smith Dustin Hogan J. D. Hogan

Great Grandchildren:  Waylon Bowen, MacKenzie Hogan and Tyler Hogan

Step-Grandchildren: Ben Williamson (Crystal) Blake Williamson (Tiffany)

Step-Great Grandchildren:  Rylee Williamson, Wyatt Williamson and Tyler Williamson

In accordance with Mrs. Bowen's wishes, no services will be held.

The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 427 Flintside Drive, Cobb, Georgia 31735.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
