Emerson M. Smith

Emerson M. Smith, age 83, of 2961 Highway 41 South, Henderson, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007, in an area nursing home.

Born in Cochran, he was the son of the late Edward Smith and Lilla Belle Berryhill Smith. He worked in aircraft maintenance at Robins Air Force Base and was a farmer, a member of Henderson Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 20 in Henderson Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Coody-Berryhill Cemetery in Cochran.

The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, January 19 at the funeral home.
