Elizabeth F. "Liz" Bivins, age 68, of 200 Oak Street, Elko, died Saturday, January 31, 2009, at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry.
Born in Jasper, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Fred Freeland and Mabel Williamson Freeland. She was a homemaker, a member of Elko United Methodist Church and the caretaker of the Elko Cemetery. Liz enjoyed flowers, working in her yard and spending time with her beloved dog, Penny.

Her sister, Frankie Fountain, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, February 2 in Elko United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Elko Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 9 PM Sunday, February 1 at the funeral home.
