Elizabeth Veatrice Bembry

Elizabeth Veatrice Bembry, age 82, of 229 Cherry Street, Unadilla, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Banyon Etheridge and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Etheridge and was the widow of Paul Jackson Bembry. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, was retired from the Dooly County Schools where she was a Lunchroom Manager and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her son, Snyder Bembry, and her daughter, Juanita Brannen, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 10 in Unadilla United Methodist Church. Rev. Ernest Bass and Mr. Joe Graham will officiate and burial will follow in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, April 9 at the funeral home.
