Elgene S. Busby

Elgene S. Busby, age 81, of 1001 Busby Road, Unadilla, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Pinewood Manor in Hawkinsville.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Grafton Leroy Scarborough and Alda Inez Faulk Scarborough. She retired from Robins Air Force Base and also served as secretary of the Unadilla United Methodist Church for 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Mrs. Busby was preceded in death by her husband, William Lavon Busby, her daughter, Annie Marie Busby, her sister, Luthene Bush and her brother, Roy Scarborough, Jr. She enjoyed gardening and maintaining her lawn, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3 PM Sunday, May 15 in Walnut Cemetery,
The family will greet friends 1 - 3 PM Sunday, May 15 at the funeral home.
