Elaine (Stodghill) Henderson

Elaine Henderson, age 80, of Vienna, died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Crisp Regional Nursing & Rehab in Cordele.

Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Stodghill and Mildred Chambers Stodghill.  She was a retired legal secretary and a member of Northside Missionary Baptist Church in Vienna.  Elaine loved the water and lived at Lake Lanier for many years.  She was also a talented artist who loved painting.  She also had a big heart when it came to animals.  She loved them all  and there was never a stray she wouldn't take in.

Survivors include: Sons: Scott Sadler (Kristal) of Vienna James Taylor Sadler (Denise) of Gainesville

Brother:  Gerald Stodghill of Cumming

Grandchildren: Brian Sadler (Brittany) Kelsey Sadler Foskey (Cameron) Amber Sadler Fowler (Eric) Ashleigh Sadler

Great Grandchildren:  Sophie, Isaac, Caroline, Wyatt, Caleb and Kree

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Henderson and her sisters, Sylvia Worley and Karen Kentey.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 9 at Faith Baptist Church in Locust Grove.
