Edsel Brannen, age 79, of Unadilla, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late John Henry Brannen and Mae Kersey Brannen. He retired from Robins Air Force Base where he was an aircraft mechanic, was a US Navy veteran and a Baptist.
Survivors include:
Wife: Doris Jean Brannen of Troutville, VA
Sister: Johnnie Ragan of Henderson
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 20 in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery. Rev. Adrian Bell will officiate.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 7 PM Wednesday, April 19 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice, 708 East 16th Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015.
