Eddie Layfield, age 49, of 845 US Highway 80, East Dublin, died Friday, December 18, 2015, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.
Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Willie Ned Layfield and Thelma Ruth Shelton Layfield. He was a carpenter with Scott Jeffers Construction Company. Eddie was devoted to his wife and his family.

Brothers:
Willie James Layfield of East Dublin
Billy Joe Layfield of Vienna
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, December 22 in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Monday, December 21 at the funeral home and may be contacted at 308 Wooten Street, Vienna.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
