Earnest Allen, age 69, of 106 Hamilton Avenue, Cordele, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
He was born in Baxley, Georgia to the late Eugene Allen and Nancy Viola Day Allen. Mr. Allen worked as a carpenter and roofer.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette Allen of Cordele.
A memorial service was held Sunday, March 28, 2010, in Metter, Georgia.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna had charge of arrangements.
