Earle F. Hudson

Earle F. Hudson, age 83, of 336 Third Street, Unadilla, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late Corbitt Hudson and Margaret Sullivan Hudson. He received his BA from the University of Georgia and his MS from the University of Southern California. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years as a major. He worked as a senior consultant for Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Earle was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Unadilla Lions Club and the Coffee Club. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Earle loved animals and was a strong supporter of Flint Humane Society. He also loved flying and took lessons flying small aircraft.

He is also survived by his dog, Chuckie Girl, his constant companion.
Earle was loyal to his friends and family and loved spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Mary Lou Sulia Hudson who died in 1994. Earle was her faithful caregiver during the last 17 years of her life.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Monday, June 22 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla. The interment with military honors will take place at 12:00 PM Monday, June 22 in Andersonville National Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Sunday, June 21 at the funeral home.
