Dottie G. (Giles) Forehand

Dottie G. Forehand, age 64, of 350 Payne Road, Vienna, died Friday, January 8, 2021, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Elko, she was the daughter of the late Billy Giles and Joyce Owen Giles.  Dottie was a registered nurse and had worked at Crisp Regional Hospital, the Dooly County Health Department and Pineview Health Care Center.  She also served as a visiting nurse providing home health care.  She loved quilting, sewing and cooking.  Dottie was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.  She loved her family, especially her grandsons.

Survivors include: Son:  Kevin Forehand (Suzanne) of Tifton

Brothers: William Owen Giles (Stephanie) of Brunswick Thomas Lee Giles of Vienna

Grandchildren: Joseph Thomas Forehand of Tifton Kaleb Michael Forehand of Tifton

Special niece:  Misty Ann Giles of Washington, DC

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Sewell Giles.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM Sunday, January 10 in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.  Dr. Bob Murphy will officiate.
