Dorothy T. Harrell

Dorothy T. Harrell, age 87, of 2724 Ledo Road, Albany, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the residence of her daughter, Lela Lorene Mixon.
Born in Talladega, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Clinton Tate and Ida McDonald Tate. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church but attended Byne Memorial Baptist Church during the time she lived in Albany. Mrs. Harrell retired from Robins Air Force Base where she was a Supply Technician.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Lela Lorene Mixon (Ed) of Albany
Son: Tony Lewis (Elaine) of Madras, OR
Brother: Sidney Tate of Macon
Grandchildren: 4
Great Grandchildren: 1
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Elmo Lewis and Archie Harrell, by a grandson, Richard Mixon and 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 8 in Harmony Baptist Church. Dr. William H. Sims, III and Rev. Jeff Dykes will officiate and interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday, May 7 at the funeral home.
