Dorothy H. Hamsley

Dorothy H. "Dot" Hamsley, age 80, of 699 Pine Avenue, Pinehurst, died Friday, April 10, 2026, at Emory Hospital in Perry.

Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Otis Hawkins and Rosebud Selph Hawkins.  She retired from Navy Federal Credit Union where she was a loan officer.

Survivors include:
Husband:  Melvin Hamsley, Jr. of Pinehurst

Daughter:  Paula Renee Lamboy (Patrick) of San Diego, CA

Sister:  Joanne Kelly of Vienna

Grandchildren:  3

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 13 in Pinehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Mark Grinsted officiating.
