Doris P. (Pettet) Lowe

Doris P. Lowe, age 90, of 5124 Pinehurst-Hawkinsville Highway, Unadilla, died Sunday, January 28, 2018, at her residence.

Born in Fairmount, she was the daughter of the late David Pettett and Cora Jane Teague Pettett.  She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.  She was truly devoted to her family, including her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include: Husband:  Charles Theron Lowe of Columbus

Daughter:  Linda Hobbs (Gloy) of Vienna

Sons: Wayne Sanders (Linda) of Unadilla Joe Sanders (Rebecca) of Midland

Grandchildren: Kim Sanders (Jesse Combs) of Bonaire Kelby Hobbs (Keri) of Athens Lori Mashburn (Scotty) of Vienna Phillip Sanders of Vienna Joshua Gaddy of Auburn Julian R. Sanders of Midland Raegan Sanders of Midland

Great Grandchildren: Brady Hobbs of Athens Ember Mashburn of Vienna Savanna Mashburn of Vienna Jazmyn Fine of Cordele Laramie Sanders Wells of Slocum, AL Shelby Gaddy of Auburn Sophia Gaddy of Auburn

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian Sanders and her granddaughter, Dusti Le Fine.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Wednesday, January 31 in Harmony Baptist Church with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
