Doris O. Allen

Doris O. Allen, age 84, of 6393 Tippettville Road, Vienna, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at Pinewood Manor Nursing Center in Hawkinsville.

Born in Telfair County, she was the daughter of the late Denver O'Bar and Clara Fennell O'Bar. She was a homemaker, the widow of Thomas I. Allen and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
Daughter: Letha Stephens (James) of Albany

Son: Wayne Allen of Vienna

Half-Sister: Sarah Crittenden of Hartwell

Half-Brother: Lawrence O'Bar of Hartwell

Grandchildren: Jennifer Bodrey (Tony) of Cordele
Leslie Broadnax (Jerry) of Marshallville

Great Grandchildren: Haley Bodrey, Toby Bodrey and Jeremy Broadnax

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Monday, February 20 in Mars Hill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends 3 - 5 PM Sunday, February 19 at the funeral home.
