Doris M. Abanathy

Doris M. Abanathy, age 70, of 740 Fitzpatrick Place, Vienna, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at her residence.

Born in Alamo, she was the daughter of the late Carl Moss and Mary Edge Moss. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, the Faith Sunday School Class and had taught Sunday School for 20 years. Mrs. Abanathy worked as a Nursing Assistant.

Betty Purvis of Vienna
Evelyn Holloway of Sylvester

Sons: Sam Abanathy of Unadilla
Carl Abanathy of Hawkinsville
Adam Abanathy of Cochran

Brother: Joe Moss of Bonaire

Grandchildren: 10

Great Grandchildren: 13

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 9 in Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Dykes will officiate and interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, April 8 at the funeral home.
