Donald Williams

Donald Williams, age 73, of 290 New Street, Unadilla, died Sunday, February 20, 2011, at his residence.

Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Joseph E. Williams and Nina Suggs Williams. He was a US Air Force veteran and retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Williams was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and plants.

Diana W. Higginbotham (Paul) of Warner Robins
Judy W. Ramsey (Tim Fortney) of Warner Robins
Lisa W. Carlson (Mike Tyndal) of Unadilla

Eunice Mims of Warner Robins
Martha Kinsler of Warner Robins
Ruth Lathrop of Urbana, IL

Brother: Jimmy Williams of Corinth, MS

Grandchildren: Shannon Marie Ray (Shane), Donald Scott Carlson, Rebecca Ramsey and Samantha Higginbotham

Great Grandchildren: Chandler Ray and Adyn Walter

Step Grandchildren: Joe Walter and Amy Zemack

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 23 in Unadilla United Methodist Church with interment in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, February 22 at the funeral home.
